Research in the field of audio-visual stimulation (AVE) has explored for many years how rhythmic light and sound patterns can influence perception and mental states. Such technologies are commonly used in contexts related to relaxation, meditation, and mental training.
neuroVIZR combines carefully calibrated light pulses with expertly crafted soundscapes to help users shift into desired mind states such as relaxation, focus, or mindfulness.
In 2023, VIZR Technologies, the manufacturer of neuroVIZR, published an observational study examining user experiences. Participants reported increased relaxation, reduced stress, and improved focus after short light and sound sessions.

How do I check the battery level?
This applies to neuroVIZR ORIGINAL and neuroVIZR ROUGE, which feature a rechargeable battery. neuroVIZR LITE is cable-powered and does not have an internal battery.
To check the battery level of your ORIGINAL or ROUGE, hold the power button on the right-hand side for approximately 2–3 seconds.
First, the middle LED will light up, followed by the outer circle. Then, one, two, or three rows of lights will briefly blink to indicate the current battery level:
- 3 rows: fully charged
- 2 rows: 30–70% charged
- 1 row: the device will need charging soon
Finally, the bottom-left LED will blink gently, indicating that neuroVIZR is searching for a connection.
Can I adjust the light intensity?
You can adjust the light intensity. In each module, there is a slider from 0-10 to control the light intensity. Depending on the ambient light, it’s worth adjusting this setting individually for each session.
Start lower & go up to where you feel comfortable. That will be different or each person.
What headphones shall I use?
The neuroVIZR device does not come with headphones, but it specially designed to not obstruct any headphones you may already use.
You can use any pair - but if you have noise cancelling headphones, that's even better.
What cable do I need?
neuroVIZR ORIGINAL and neuroVIZR ROUGE have rechargeable batteries and connect wirelessly to your smartphone. Once charged, they do not need to be connected to a cable during use. A standard USB-C cable is required for charging.
neuroVIZR LITE is cable-powered and must remain connected to a power source during use. It does not have an internal rechargeable battery.
